For Patients and Families

Hospice in the Pines is staffed with exceptional bereavement professionals and licensed Master’s level personnel who are able to provide quality counseling services. Hospice in the Pines hosts monthly grief support groups and facilitates multiple programs specifically devoted to end of life care.

Caring & Dedicated Staff

Hospice in the Pines offers in-home care for patients with life-limiting illnesses. Our team of skilled professionals includes:

  • Medical Directors (5 currently on staff)

  • Registered and Licensed Vocational Nurses—on call 24 hours a day

  • Social Workers

  • Patient Care Aides

  • Contracted Respiratory Therapists

  • Chaplains

Exceptional Facilities

Our in-patient medical facility provides continuous skilled care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It offers plenty of reserved parking and comfortable living areas for both patients and families. Each room is completely furnished and wheelchair accessible.

For patients and families traveling to the Lufkin area for medical services, our Joe W. Elliot House facility provides inexpensive lodging with comfortable private rooms – and is also fully staffed 7 days a week.
